What’s your story?
In 2015, I started working part-time at Camellia Fiber Company as an assistant to help with packaging and shipping. I was on the verge of turning my calligraphy hobby into a business but long story short, life took me in a different direction and I took over the company in 2017. I entered the fiber world with little knowledge of yarns and zero experience on how to run a business.
There was so much to learn - especially running a business. But being creative is what has kept me going. I think my unique situation has helped me to look at things from a different angle. I've always been inspired by nature and hope I can show that in all my work.

What can we find at Camellia Fiber Company?
We sell mostly hand-dyed yarns and handspun yarns in our online store. Our handspun yarns are almost 100% USA wool.
Are you open to collaborations or custom work?
I absolutely love collaborating with different artists. Especially BIPOC women.
